Although gas is part of the system, in modern heaters it’s largely the electrical and the electronic control boards, sensors, and safety circuits that often cause faults. That’s why you need a technician with electrical training and the right diagnostic tools. Experience matters—but true expertise is what saves you time, money, and repeat breakdowns.

Today, gas valves are non-serviceable, meaning they can no longer be manually dismantled and reassembled for maintenance; they are only replaceable. After replacement, a gas fitter or plumber will use a Manometer to check and readjust the gas pressure, but this is only one part of the job.
