Mr. Vinod, possessing expertise in property management, had a clear understanding of the technical necessities of the job. We executed our part with diligence, focusing on electrical repairs and ensuring safety compliance certification. Mr. Vinod, stating he had access to plumbers and electricians, chose to handle the gas servicing aspect personally.

The Heater Repair:
While we took care of the electrical component of the repair, the gas servicing was under Mr. Vinod’s purview, as communicated on multiple occasions.
Warranty Service:
At Fix2QIK, we always uphold our policy of no extra or hidden fees for reworks covered under our warranty.
However, in Mr. Vinod’s situation, the outstanding payment for the last invoice remains. Our prior experience with clients did not prepare us for such a unique scenario, leading us to question the unforeseen costs, both in terms of potential legal actions for defamation against Mr Vinod and time lost, not to mention the impact on potential clientele. Nonetheless, we trust in the public’s intelligence to make informed judgments on the matter.
Billing and Ethics:
We pride ourselves on maintaining transparent and fair billing practices. The price quoted was clear and was charged upon service delivery.
For any service personnel or other interested parties, it’s noteworthy to mention that I charged Mr. Vinod $160 AUD for the initial visit. This fee encompassed the basic business expenses the travel costs and included expert fault-finding services tailored to this internal ducted Vulcan BV4 20i heater model.
I undertook the job in good faith, without anticipating a misleading 1-star review based on Mr. Vinod’s demeanor.
Subsequent Technician Hire:
To date, we are yet to receive any substantial evidence supporting the engagement of a subsequent technician or their diagnosis, even though we have repeatedly asked for it.

- Gas Servicing: Mr. Vinod, with his access to plumbers and electricians, opted to manage the gas servicing of the heater personally. He assured us that this component would be addressed adequately.
- Property Maintenance Oversight: As a maintenance manager overseeing the property, Mr. Vinod was also tasked with ensuring that all other property maintenance requirements related to the heater were appropriately managed.
Our Conclusion:
Over the past 20 years, we’ve prided ourselves on our flexibility and commitment to customer satisfaction, often adjusting work conditions based on negotiations. Communication has always been a cornerstone of our operations. However, our engagement with Mr. Vinod presented challenges beyond our typical scope.
Our collaboration with Mr. Kamal Vinod concluded on 05 September 2023 due to concerns about the heater’s uncertified gas servicing still being in use under his oversight….
