Brivis Ducted Gas Heater Error Codes and Remedies: 1. Error code 40, 41, 42 and 43: . Fault: These errors indicated an overheat condition has occurred. Note that the the fan motor will operate at maximum speed. . Corrective actions: Check duct system. 2. Error code 46, 47 and 55 . Fault: Heater has failed to ignite within the specified time. System fault, call for repairs. 3. Error code 50 (most likely this caused due to lack of regular preventative maintenances) . Fault: Heater has locked out after four ignition attempts. This error can be cleared by using the reset button to restart the heater, however, the unless the condition has been rectified, the error is likely to occur again. . Corrective actions: Electronics gas control circuits, or Gas supplying components. Check other gas appliances for burners to verify the gas supplying to the heater is the only part that is currently not working. 4. Error Code 53 . Fault: Heater has locked out due to multiple overheat occurrences. . Corrective actions: Check the return air grille. 5. Error code 56 . Fault: A lockout has occurred on the pressure switch, usually caused by too much restriction on the flue pipe, or condensate drain (SP6 models). . Corrective actions: Check the flue pipe for blockages. Check the condensate piping for blockages (SP6 models). . | Common Brivis Evaporative Cooler Fault Codes: 1. Fault #30: FAN_LIMP: . No fan signal or incorrectly feedback. 2. Fault #40: . Water (low) sensing failed: Faulty sensor. Faulty Electronics control circuit. 3. Fault #41: . Water (high) sensing failed: Faulty sensor.
